Katherine J Igoe

Katherine J. Igoe (she/her) is a freelance writer who covers style and fashion for TZR. She's particularly obsessed with gift guides, roundups, and personal essays; her work encompasses choosing sustainable fashion options, channeling self-expression, shopping at different price points, working with your body type, optimizing a wardrobe, and balancing between trends and evergreen styles.

Katherine's a full-time freelancer who's been writing and editing for over a decade. She has a BA in English and Art History from the University of Notre Dame and an MA in Art Business (with a concentration in marketing and communications) from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Her work has also appeared in SELF, New York Times, Refinery29, Boston Globe, Byrdie, and a variety of other publications (also covering lifestyle and parenting).

She's also been a part-time contributing editor at Cosmopolitan (2021-2023) and Marie Claire (2018-2021) and a part-time contributor at Bustle (2021). Her work has been syndicated by Harper’s Bazaar, Seventeen, Good Housekeeping, Prevention, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Oprah Daily, Elle, Elle UK, Delish, and Town and Country, among others. She’s managed digital packages and series, including Marie Claire’s “Couples + Money” on the different ways couples split finances (2019-2020). She’s been the most-read monthly author on various sites; her most popular story has more than 1.3 million pageviews.

You can find Katherine on Twitter, Instagram, or on her website. She lives in Boston with her husband and two kids; when she's not trying to catch up on RuPaul's Drag Race, she can be found (what else?) online shopping, looking for outfit inspiration, or unsuccessfully learning to sew. If you're curious, it's "I go to the store," not "Her huge ego," but she responds to both.
