Amidst Lady Gaga's outfit-changing 2019 Met Gala entrance, her flawless skin may've been the last thing you noticed. However, it deserves just as much attention as her multiple fuchsia gowns and oversized sunglasses; her face served as a public, red-carpet debut for Marc Jacobs Beauty's first-ever skincare product. And before you ask: The new product is available now — but only for a limited time before its official launch later this May.

Lady Gaga's Met Gala look was crafted by her longtime makeup artist — and Marc Jacobs Beauty Global Artistry Ambassador — Sarah Tanno. But before Tanno applied those jaw-dropping glitter eyelashes, the artist prepped Lady Gaga's skin with Marc Jacobs Beauty's new Youthquake Hydra-Full Retexturizing Gel Crème. And it's a powerful example of what the $59 moisturizer offers; it doesn't just hydrate skin. (Although it does do that well, thanks to a deeply moisturizing sodium hyaluronate.) The product also has a smoothing, "retexturizing" effect, due to the formula's enzyme-rich pineapple water.

Basically, the pineapple enzymes work as a super gentle chemical exfoliant, sloughing away dead skin cells so that the moisturizer can fully penetrate your skin. As Marc Jacobs Beauty says in the moisturizer's product description: "Have it all."

And Gaga did at the gala. Because the Youthquake gel crème was so moisturizing and smoothing, Tanno skipped applying any foundation to Lady Gaga's face. Instead, the artist simply dabbed on Marc Jacobs Beauty's Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick, then finished it with the Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder.

And because a Lady Gaga red carpet outfit wouldn't be complete without a statement lip, Tanno used Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon in Flaming-oh! on her lips underneath Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick in Sweet Escape (which you may have spotted Gaga reapplying at the Met Gala) as the finishing touch to the look.

Marc Jacobs Beauty's new Youthquake Hydra-Full Retexturizing Gel Crème is available now for a limited time on MarcJacobsBeauty.com and MarcJacobs.com — but this time around, it's only shoppable until May 8 before its official launch later in May. So if you're looking to get Gaga's flawless Met Gala skin, this isn't something you should sleep on. Ahead, Marc Jacobs Beauty's first-ever skincare product; add it to cart while you can.
