Viral entertainers and music moguls gathered in Hermosa Beach, CA for the 20th Annual Teen Choice Awards on Sun., and a range unexpected performances, high-energy appearances, and top-notch red carpet looks ensued. The fun-filled event was a mixed bag of everything from heartfelt acceptance speeches from Taylor Swift and the Jonas Brothers to a failed bottle-cap challenge, and Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale was at the center of the action. The 30-year-old was a vision in a Jean Paul Gautier beaded mini dress, and Lucy Hale's 2019 Teen Choice Awards makeup look was created using a top-rated, pleasantly affordable beauty brand.

Courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan, the bold beauty look was a modern take on a classic favorite. Featuring a vivid red lip that popped against Hale's porcelain skin stunningly, the face-beat included super-high blush application "to keep the look young and modern," according to Deenihan. The brunette beauty is known for those luscious, bushy brows, so it was only right to play them up with e.l.f.'s Wow Brow Gel and Ultra Precise Brow Pencil.

Alongside a freshly-chopped bob with a slight auburn tinge, the crimson makeup look was comprised of surprisingly budget-friendly product picks, all from drugstore brand, e.l.f. Cosmetics.

“After seeing Lucy’s gorgeous red dress for the carpet, I was inspired to do a classic look with a modern twist,” said Deenihan. “I wanted to create a prominent brow look while adding a fun blush and red lip to complement her features.” From the Poreless Putty Primer to the Moisturizing Lipstick shade appropriately named Red Carpet, all but one product in the entire beat rings in under $10. The New Classics eyeshadow palette, featuring a pretty range of matte and shimmery neutrals, will cost you $14, which is still a total steal.

As proven by Hale's camera-ready look at the star-studded event, looking like a million bucks doesn't have to mean breaking the bank. If you're looking to home a few new staples in your beauty bag, look no further than the actor-approved, budget-friendly brand. Below, shop The Zoe Report's star picks from Hale's awards show glam.
