EmRata’s Red Crop Top Is Perfect For Summer (& Still In Stock)
With Memorial Day Weekend behind us, it's finally beginning to feel like summer. With warmer weather comes a completely new wardrobe, too. If you're not sure where to start, take some inspo from Emily Ratajkowski’s Veuve Clicquot outfit, which is the perfect addition to your warm-weather closet thanks to its wearable versatility.
It felt like every model, celebrity, and influencer descended on New Jersey's Liberty State Park for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on June 1. While many of the attendees went for summery midi dresses, model and designer Emily Ratajkowski opted for a more bold option: a super-cropped long-sleeve top in a bright poppy red color and a ribbed nude button-front midi skirt, both designed by Myram Nassir Zadeh.
Ratajkowski kept the rest of her accessories mostly monochrome. She styled her look with a nude, gold-studded belt also designed by Zadeh, a mini straw bag by Carolina Santo, and brown snakeskin heeled mule sandals from Andrea Wazen. She finished off her outfit with a pair of reflective cat-eye shades by Rixx.
This isn't the first time the California native has opted for a nude-and-red look — she's been wearing the colors everywhere recently, from her latest appearance on Late Night Starring Jimmy Fallon to a recent cardio session of running around in New York City.
Cropped tops in statement colors are so perfect for a going-out look when you're tired of relying on your favorite all-black get up. And you don't have to spend a ton on a solid option as several affordable brands and retailers are on board the crop train. Try a silky tie-front version from Urban Outiftters or a ruffled style from Choosy for dinner dates with friends.
To keep your top as the focal point of your look, pair down the rest of your outfit. Try styling it with all-neutral pieces like Em Rata did for a more editorial look. Clothes in just about every shade of beige have been everywhere this season, so you won't be hard-pressed to find an identical version of Ratajkowski’s outfit. You can also dress the look down by swapping in a pair of blue or white high-waisted jeans. But if you are looking to indulge in the actor's exact pieces, the good news is they're not — entirely — sold out online, but act fast.
