Fenty Beauty Skincare *Might* Sell These 5 Products — Hear Me Out

Fenty Beauty

With new beauty products, a new movie, and hopefully new music, 2019 has already been a banner year for everyone's favorite bad gal: Robyn Rihanna Fenty. And now, rumor has it that she's set to dominate yet another realm: a Fenty Beauty skincare line. A trademark listed under "Fenty Skin" was filed on March 25 on the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s website. And the trademark is intended for medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care, and personal care products (excluding color cosmetics, perfume, and other fragrance-only products), and related accessories such as kits, tools, and applicators — which basically means that Rih is gearing up to overhaul my entire skincare routine. The Zoe Report reached out to the brand for comment, but the team remains tightlipped.

Even though there's no official word on what Fenty Skin will consist of, there's no doubt that these goods will be of the same caliber as the rest of Fenty Beauty's iconic offerings. With 50 shades of both the Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Concealer and the Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, the prospect of a skincare range that addresses all skincare types is super exciting.

But in the meantime, it's still fun to play the guessing game. My personal estimates are based on the products that Rih is already known to use and love.

Ahead, check out the skincare products that TZR thinks Fenty Beauty will launch this year.

Gel Cream Moisturizer

When Rihanna's skin "has had it," she relies on moisturizer to help it bounce back. "Mix moisturizer and a drop of foundation," she told Elle Magazine in 2014. "That, some mascara, lipstick, and you're good. And fix those brows." Her go-to? Crème De La Mer Moisturizing Cool Gel Cream. While the sea-sourced renewing ingredients in the pricy cream gives a dewy glow, the three-digit price is a bit out of touch for your everyday consumer. Hopefully, Fenty Skin will deliver an equally-efficacious offering... at an attainable price.

Sheet Masks

Fenty Beauty's Global Makeup Artist Priscilla Ono loves to use Tatcha masks on her superstar client. "My favorite are the Tatcha sheet masks, especially the Luminous Deep Hydration Lifting Mask. There's one whole young coconut in each sheet mask — it's crazy," Ono told Refinery29 in 2018.

Body Cream

Rihanna likes Weleda's Skin Food Cream, which contains a ton of plant-based ingredients, Instyle reported in 2018. And according to InStyle, "Rihanna has previously requested a tube or two with her manicurist prior to getting lacquered up." A rich cream like this would provide the perfect base for Body Lava before a long day in the sun.

Micellar Water

Ono also told Refinery29 that she likes to use Bioderma's Micellar Water on Rihanna's face to sweep away dirt and any leftover oil. And honestly, I'd bathe in Fenty Skin Micellar Water if that's what Rih wanted. And according to Twitter, it's what the consumers want, too. If history repeats itself, the Navy just might get their wish — Cuz I'm Black, her Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner, was named after a fan-favorite clapback from 2011.

SPF

It's no secret that the Barbados native loves the great outdoors... she even titled her first album Music of the Sun. And in that instance, SPF is always a must. "I love going home and being reckless with the sun, but I notice now that under my eyes starts to get tan," she told ELLE Magazine. "I hate that! I have to put extra sunscreen there." Finding a sunscreen product that doesn't leave a chalky residue is no easy feat (even in 2019)... but I'm sure that Rihanna could pull off the nearly impossible. It's kind of what she does.
