If you're tuning into the 71st Emmy Awards, there's probably a few fashion trends that immediately caught your eye. It seemed as if everyone got the baby blue memo —the hue took over in a slew of different tones. But another huge trend for the 2019 Emmys red carpet, two-tone dresses, surfaced on A-list celebrities like Mandy Moore and Viola Davis.

The red-pink duo is the clear winner in the two-tone department, but each style exhibited its own unique take on the trend. Moore arrived to the highly anticipated event in a custom Brandon Maxwell gown. The stunning off-the-shoulder gown includes a bubblegum pink shade on top, while the bottom half is a bright red hue. Likewise, her co-star Susan Kelechi Watson also wore a chic off-the-shoulder red and pink two-tone dress. The elegant gown from Badgley Mischka includes pink puffy sleeves, another trendy silhouette shown at the awards.

And the runner-up for the top two-tone color combos at the Emmy Awards was no doubt black and white. How To Get Away With Murder star Viola Davis looked exquisite in an Alberta Ferretti gown, featuring a wrap-around bodice. Another jaw-dropping black and white gown was worn on Killing Eve actress Emerald Fennell, also with an on-trend puff sleeve, yet again.

It's no surprise that these color-blocked dresses dominated the red carpet, as the trend is rapidly emerging this fall. A sneak preview of the eye-catching look took place during NYFW this month, where attendees arrived in two-tone pieces like trench coats, trousers, and *even* two different colored shoes. And now that celebrities are sporting the look, wearing runway gowns in two contrasting color combinations at the Emmys, the exciting trend will no doubt blow up this season.

Ahead, see all the two-tone dresses from the Emmy Awards that will convince you to invest in a piece (or two) this fall.
