Once again, Queen Letizia has proven that she's the most fashionable queen of all time. The Spanish royal seems to wear a bolder outfit every time she steps out of the house, or rather, the Zarzuela Palace, where she and King Felipe VI live. The surprisingly edgy (and blissfully affordable) black leather dress Queen Letizia just sported is proof.

If you're not already familiar with this trend-forward empress, then you need to add her to your watch list immediately. Queen Letizia is constantly redefining royal style with bold prints and edgy pieces you probably wouldn't expect. But even with an impeccable taste in fashion, this 46-year-old still loves a deal.

On Thurs., Queen Letizia attended the opening of ARCO, a contemporary art fair in Madrid, and her outfit was a work of art itself. Her glossy leather midi made quite the entrance. From the everyday girl's go-to brand, & Other Stories, the dress is short sleeved, slouchy, and gathered at the waist with a duo D-ring belt, lending to a robe-like silhouette.

She paired the $450 statement piece with a black clutch and nude pointy-toed pumps. She tucked her side-swept bangs behind an ear and pulled the rest of her hair back into a bouncy low ponytail using a trendy black ribbon to secure it. Could this queen get any more stylish?

A former news anchor who married into royalty at the age of 31, Queen Letizia is known for pushing boundaries when it comes to fashion. She's quick to try the latest trends, from animal print to bright monochromatic red and beyond. Just the day before her most recent outing, for example, she opted for head-to-toe snakeskin print.

Still, her leather dress is surprisingly edgy. Now that Queen Letizia has showed just how chic the trend can be, it's time to test it out for yourself. Ahead, the dreamiest leather dresses on The Zoe Report's wish list.
