If a supermodel's off-duty wardrobe is anything to go by, then Kendall Jenner's zebra top proves it's officially time to venture beyond leopard print. If leopard was last summer's wear-with-everything print, consider zebra its wilder, unexpected cousin for the season ahead. Best of all, it's way easier to style than you might think.

Jenner stepped out in New York City ahead of the 2019 Met Gala on May 6 wearing a zebra-print blouse by one of her favorite sustainable brands, Reformation. She paired her statement top with otherwise simple items, reaching for high-waisted leather trousers and a pair of thin black flip flops. A zebra-print micro bag from celeb-favorite brand By Far and thin-framed sunglasses rounded out the look perfectly. Perhaps in preparation for her Met Gala look, the model kept it relatively understated on the beauty front.

If you know anything about the 23-year-old's style, it's that she isn't one to shy away from mixing new and daring trends into her everyday looks. Case and point: This isn't the first time Jenner has rocked the unexpected animal print this season — she wore a pair of zebra-print pants by Autobody during New York Fashion Week back in Feb.

2019 is truly the year of animal print. Whether it's snakeskin, cheetah, and now zebra, fashion lovers can't get enough. Thanks to the fact that it's a black and white print, zebra can be styled just like a neutral. Try swapping out your favorite go-to white blouse for a zebra version, and you'll see that the Jenner-approved print is equal parts classic and edgy.

If you're not sure about wearing the print as a part of your wardrobe, swap out your black boots for a pair of zebra-printed ones. Or, take a page out of Jenner's playbook, and rock a bag instead. Ahead, The Zoe Report rounded up the best zebra-print tops for you to wear this summer, all inspired by the model's latest look.
