Emily Ratajkowski & Mary-Kate Olsen’s Red Snakeskin Boots Are Worth Investing In

Of all the shoes in the world, two of the biggest names in fashion opted for an identical pair on Wed. evening. Although their style is incredibly different, Emily Ratajkowski and Mary-Kate Olsen’s red snakeskin boots prove the right statement shoe can elevate any outfit. If you haven't already hopped on the snakeskin-boot trend, Ratajkowski and Olsen’s pick from Celine may finally sway you.

Ratajkowski completed one of her classic looks with the red snakeskin booties by Celine while sitting courtside at a Lakers game in Los Angeles. The model paired her shoes with a midriff-baring white tank top and high-waisted jeans, breaking up the outfit with a thick black belt that subtly complemented the black-heeled boot. She topped it all off with chunky gold earrings, bronzed skin, tousled hair, and sleek winged eyeliner.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Olsen took a different approach. The 32-year-old was photographed on her way to WSJ's annual Innovator Awards on Wed. evening in her usual aesthetic: the '90s icon-turned-fashion powerhouse wore a black oversized blazer, satin pants, and of course, the red Celine boots. She wore her long, dirty-blonde hair down in its natural wavy texture.

Ratajkowski and Olsen may not have a lot in common when it comes to their personal style — EmRata is partial to form-fitting styles, while Olsen is hardly seen without an oversized sweater or longline coatbut this versatile boot flawlessly bridges the gap between them.

Animal print, specifically in the form of snakeskin boots, has taken the fashion set by storm in recent weeks. Gigi and Bella Hadid are known advocates of the trend — just last month, Gigi was photographed in the perfect red snakeskin boots from Mango. As Hadid, Ratajkowski, and Olsen show so well, a red version is an easy way to simultaneously incorporate color and print into a neutral outfit.

Add some excitement to a long day at the office by pairing them with black trousers and a matching blouse, or hit the town and wear them with a satin jumpsuit and statement jewelry.
