The Spring/Summer 2020 trend watch is officially underway, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled on all the catwalk and street-style coverage in the coming days. On the runways, models are sporting the freshest crazes to hit the style scene, while off the runways, new (and some old) trends are proving to be a favorite among the industry's most fashionable. Take, for example, Bella Hadid's black sandals — a style that just debuted on the Spring/Summer 2020 runways, but feels inherently nostalgic and familiar, thanks to its classic '90s silhouette that's actually been trending for a while now.

Hadid has had a whirlwind of a week. From walking in some of the biggest shows for industry heavy hitters like Brandon Maxwell, Helmut Lang, and Ralph Lauren to showing off her impeccable street-style prowess, the 22-year-old has proven to be at the top of her sartorial game this season (to no surprise, of course). She's sported a glittery red gown, courtesy of Ralph Lauren, metallic pants and a paperboy cap from Zendaya's latest collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger, and she's stepped out wearing a fresh take on a classic, though oftentimes controversial, footwear craze: thong sandals.

Models and actors tend to be the first to get their hands on fresh-off-the-runway pieces — and that's why it should come as no shock that Hadid's shoes actually just made their runway debut a day prior, in Bevza's Sept. 7 New York Fashion Week show.

On Sept. 8, Hadid was photographed running around New York City in between shows, looking as cool as ever in a pair of colorful patchwork pants (yes, really), a cropped white tank top, and a navy-blue jacket.

Her trendy base pieces were made even trendier, thanks to a standout accessory assortment that included a butterfly bag, stacks of necklaces, yellow-tinted sunglasses, and last but certainly not least, black thong sandals from Bevza's Spring/Summer 2020 collection.

You can't shop Hadid's Bevza sandals just yet, but you can cop a slew of similar styles that pay perfect homage to the '90s. Scoop up The Zoe Report's all-time favorites, below.
