31 May Beauty Launches You Need To Know About
2019 has been good to beauty enthusiasts. In just four short months, the year has presented an entire rainbow of lipsticks and glosses, a slew of scalp-detoxing hair care products, and all the over-the-counter retinol anyone could ever want. I’ve been asking myself when my bathroom shelf is going to break under the weight of it all, and to paraphrase *NYSYNC: It’s gonna be May. These 31 May 2019 beauty products — from makeup to nail care to fragrance and everything in between — "may" just be the best of the year.
The theme of the month? Options. PUR’s new 4-in-1 Love Your Selfie Foundation comes in an astounding 100 shades, so there’s sure to be a near-exact match for your skin tone; while Charlotte Tilbury launched her latest Glowgasm collection with no less than 10 glow-getting products to choose from. And don’t even get me started on all the CBD.
Hot on the heels of 420 — aka Apr. 20, the cannabis industry’s biggest holiday — it seems that every beauty category is getting a trendy infusion of cannabidiol. Lord Jones, one of the most established CBD brands in the biz, finally enters the facial skincare space this month with its multitasking Royal Oil, a “booster” that can be added to your usual serum or face oil and applied topically, or mixed in with your morning iced matcha and ingested. Love Wellness has grown-up bath time covered with its new Timeout CBD Bath Salts, featuring hydrating hemp seed oil as well as hemp-derived CBD. Follow it up with Ellis Brooklyn Marvelous Massage and Body Oil, which features full-spectrum CBD to soothe your skin from neck to toe.
Ahead, the 31 best beauty buys of May 2019.

The shades of Flesh Hot Sauce Lip Gloss, released on Apr. 22, may be spicy — but the gloss, thankfully, is not. (It actually tastes like vanilla and mint.)

14VENN Skincare Advanced Multi-Perfecting Red Oil Serum

"Butter cleanser" might not sound super appealing, but Drunk Elephant's early April release is actually less buttery, more balmy — and just what your dry skin's been craving.

Despite the name and the ingredient list, Honey Grail Face Oil isn't sticky at all — but its hydrating power did generate some buzz when it was introduced on Apr. 23.
17Kérastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum
In Kérastase's overnight hair serum, which was introduced in mid-April, Vitamin B complex and iris root extract come together to condition and repair strands while you snooze — not to mention, cut down on pillow friction — giving a whole new meaning to the term "beauty sleep."

Stock up on Follain's eco-friendly Everything Soap, part of the clean beauty retailer's new in-house product line, launched mid-April. It can be used for hands, body, and even dishes; and comes in a refillable glass bottle. Plus, it smells incredible. Is there anything this soap doesn't do? (No.)
21OUAI After Sun Body Soother
OUAI After Sun Body Soother (released Apr. 25), a spray-on foaming moisturizer that hydrates and cools sun-warmed skin with cucumber, aloe juice, and rosehip oil, is sure to be a new summer staple. Founder Jen Atkin tells The Zoe Report it's like an "at-home cryotherapy experience." Yes, please.
22HauteBronze Tan Towel Half Body Self Tan Towelettes

23Ellis Brooklyn Marvelous Massage and Body Oi
Possibly the most glamorous product your gym bag has ever seen, Ellis Brooklyn's CBD-infused body oil, an Apr. 16 release, is key for alleviating post-workout pain (without the mentholated scent of most muscle rubs, natch).

Hitting on two of spring's biggest beauty trends — a pearlescent sheen and the color coral — Chanel's Cruise 2019 shade is one you shouldn't miss.
