Amal Clooney’s “La Panthère” Highlights Will Make You Want To Book A Cut & Color ASAP

Some girls really do have all the luck, and Amal Clooney is one of them. To be clear, I’m not talking about her trajectory in life — one doesn’t become an internationally renowned, Oxford-educated human rights attorney without putting in some substantial intellectual elbow grease. I’m talking about her hair. Clooney has the kind of thick, shiny, full-of-body mane that mesmerizes in just about any style, cut, or color. (Seriously, this disco-diva faux bob lives rent-free in my head.) And her latest hair moment — featuring gold-tinged “La Panthère” highlights — is another look to add to the books.

The cut and color came courtesy of hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, who, on April 1, shared snaps of the barrister’s new style in two Instagram posts. In them, Clooney is seen with long, blown-out, chocolate-brown hair, slightly directed to the side. Warm golden and bronde highlights are woven throughout, creating dimension and adding movement.

In the caption, added to both posts, Giannetos shared his inspiration for the chic hue: Cartier’s La Panthère, the name of both a fine fragrance and a watch design. For a Cartier event held in Milan, Giannetos “wanted to subtly change Amal’s hair color and length,” he wrote. “La Panthère highlights are bold but at the same time look effortless and very elegant!”

And Giannetos didn’t “just” provide hair cut, color, and styling — he also did Clooney’s makeup, using Charlotte Tilbury products. Per the brand’s Instagram Stories, he created the sophisticated (and very on-trend) blurred lip with the Lip Cheat in Foxy Brown and K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Coral Kiss.
