Queen Letizia is — hands down — Spain's most stylish royal. The regal trendsetter just balanced out a fearless fire-red two piece with black-and-gray animal print. Queen Letizia's leopard-print coat is your introduction to bold outerwear.

The Queen visited the Fundeu BBVA Foundation, an organization dedicated to the Spanish language, in Madrid on Tues. The ensemble she chose for the occasion was fiercely bright — a scarlet crew-neck sweater with button-up sleeves tucked into monochromatic, wide-leg culottes, both by one of her favorite designers, Hugo Boss.

But the temperature in the Spanish city was chilly, and her outfit was certainly in need of an extra layer, so she reached for the boldest leopard-print coat in her closet. Queen Letizia's slouchy, single-button coat is also by Hugo Boss. It features dropped shoulders and cropped long sleeves that allowed her sweater to peek out from underneath.

She first debuted the trend-forward layer during another outing in Madrid in Feb. 2018, when she wore it over an all-black pants ensemble and carried an edgy studded clutch. This time, she went bold with the color palette, pairing vivid red with a daring print. She did, however, play it safe with simple black accessories, including an envelope clutch and pointy-toed heels.

The royal seems to be having a moment with red lately, having also sported a rose-color peplum midi to the National Sports Awards on Jan. 10, and just before that, a high-neck, puffy-shouldered frock of the same hue to Dec. 19's National Fashion Awards.

It's no secret that Spain's ever-so-stylish Queen is not afraid of a bold new trend, and this coat is the ultimate proof. Her look will inspire you to add an animal-print staple to your closet, too. Unfortunately, the royal has been wearing her jacket for so long that it's no longer available. Instead, get the look with similar leopard-print coats, ahead.
