Priyanka Chopra’s Snakeskin Boots Are The Spring Update To Your Favorite Trend

Share

Priyanka Chopra has given just about every major of-the-moment trend her stamp of approval. From her unique approach to pattern mixing to her affinity for bold, statement-making outerwear, it's clear the actor isn't one to shy away from those harder-to-wear fashion pieces. But although she dishes out one fresh and unexpected look after the other, there's one particular trend that's remained a constant in many of her 2019 ensembles: snakeskin print. And Chopra's latest boots prove she certainly isn't parting ways with the pattern anytime soon.

Animal prints of all kind, from cheetah spots to tiger stripes, started to re-emerge on the celebrity street-style scene in 2018. But there's one wild pattern, in particular, that has proven to be the most favored of them all, especially in 2019. Everyone from model Bella Hadid to Spanish royal, Queen Letizia, has worked snakeskin print into their day (and nighttime) outfits — but no one quite as often as Chopra herself.

On April 15, the Isn't It Romantic actor was photographed out and about in New York City in a springtime getup that's, luckily, super simple to replicate. The base of her look included a relaxed-fit white crop top and light-wash mom jeans that sat high on the waist. Of course, no Chopra ensemble is complete without a bold jacket, and her Mon. outfit was no exception.

The 36-year-old threw on a yellow-and-orange plaid wool coat from Bottega Veneta for added warmth and color. But the real standout piece was her snakeskin boots. Not only are they unlike anything you've seen before, but they also offer up an easy way to work the print into all of your warm-weather looks.

Chopra's boots, which hail from up-and-coming Icelandic brand, Kalda, are rendered in a soft-brown hue and feature a pointed-toe front — two design elements that lend a sophisticated touch. The real can't-miss-feature about her footwear, though? The boot's twisted screw heel that infuses the otherwise polished silhouette with a bit of edge.

Though Chopra chose to wear her snakeskin ankle boots with high-waisted jeans, the style works well with everything else in your spring wardrobe, too. For a casual day out, try pairing the slithering boot with a lightweight maxi dress, bike shorts, or a midi-length slip skirt.
