Priyanka Chopra's Monochrome Outfit Looked So Different On The Runway

Plucked straight from the runways of Paris Fashion Week Fall 2018, Priyanka Chopra's all-red outfit just won the monochromatic trend. The actor strutted around Soho on Tues. in a fiery-hued crepe blouse and pencil skirt from Akris. Chopra's look will make you want to pull out everything that's red in your closet and wear it all at once.

Chopra, who recently announced her engagement to Nick Jonas, spent the day in New York City in the ideal fall outfit. The actor copped the all-red combo from one of Akris' Fall 2018 Fashion Week looks: the Mock-Neck Asymmetric Silk Crepe Blouse tucked into the matching Front-Wrap Pebble Deer Leather Pencil Skirt. Both the skirt and blouse feature asymmetric angles and mismatched lengths. The blouse is a lightweight zip-up top with a long fit (ideal for tucking into the midi skirt), which can be worn with the front flap buttoned like Chopra's or open like the runway model's.

The 36-year-old bride-to-be strayed somewhat from the Fashion Week look, which layered the skirt's matching jacket over the blouse and paired it with knee-high scarlet boots and a matching tote. Chopra, instead, wore the outfit with a tiny patent handbag and kitten hills with a subtle, snakeskin print. She wore her hair down and straight, with a glossy middle part and a rosy lip.

The actor is known for pulling off unexpected looks seemingly without effort. She's been a pioneer of the latest monochrome trend, too, always matching her blouses to her signature pencil skirts and even sporting all-floral suit separates by Brock Collection this past spring. This particular look resembles Meghan Markle's latest green-on-green leather skirt and crepe top outfit, which she wore on an outing in Sussex the week prior.

The classic combination of a leather pencil skirt and silky blouse is a perfectly polished way to introduce monochrome into your work wardrobe this fall. These two staples are versatile pieces on their own — tuck the blouse into a wide-leg trouser or wear the skirt with a crisp white button-up — but they're undoubtedly better together, as Chopra and Markle have confirmed.
