“Holiday is the most glamorous time of the year and my obsession knows no bounds,” stated Pat McGrath herself in a press email. And if you disagreed with the world-renowned makeup artist before, then Pat McGrath Labs' Obsessive Opulence collection will have you counting down the days until winter arrives. Officially kicking off its launch on Oct. 10, the holiday collection features a brand-new highlighter, three new eyeshadow quads (that are already runway approved), and limited-edition packaging for a curated lineup of MatteTrance lipstick shades.

This means you're just days away from recreating the smoky-eye look from Chloé's Spring/Summer 2020 show, or the bedazzled golden eyelid-and-brow sparkle from the Valentino runway — which both involved these upcoming palettes, just in case you're not aware.

“This covetable collection rings in a sumptuous season with a luscious spread of sinfully sublime hues," McGrath continued. "Each piece is designed to embellish and adorn with unparalleled ornamentation. Transform yourself into the masterpiece of the season with these lust-worthy hues and stunning signature looks.”

Don't just take McGrath's word for it, though. Ahead, all of the new releases from the Obsessive Opulence collection, available on PatMcGrath.com starting Oct. 10.

Chromaluxe Hi-Lite Cream — $35

To start your holiday sparkle off on the right foot, Pat McGrath Labs is releasing a new multipurpose hightligher — known as the Chromaluxe Hi-Lite Cream — in two shades: "Astral Blue Star" (a pearlescent blue) and "Pale Gold 002" (a classic metallic gold).

Even better, this highlighter isn't just for your cheekbones. You can use it to top your eyeshadow or favorite lipstick shade — for when you need an extra dose of holiday glitz.

Blitz Astral Eye Shadow Quads — $65

At Valentino's Spring/Summer 2020 show, McGrath dipped into the glistening shade "Incandescent Gold 003" from the new Blitz Astral Eye Shadow Quad: Nocturnal Nirvana palette (according to her own Instagram account). This quad is all about shimmery jewel tones — featuring the glittery greenish-blue "Blitz Aquamarine", shimmery purple "Blitz Purple", and duochrome green "VR Emerald" as well.

On the other hand, the Chloé Spring/Summer 2020 look relied on the upcoming Blitz Astral Eye Shadow Quad: Iconic Illumination palette's shade "Blitz Brown" to create a dreamy smoky eye. Besides the go-to cocoa shadow, the quad will also feature the warm gold "Bronzed Gold 003", sparkling wine "Blitz Bordeaux", and glitzy white "Astral Gold Allure."

Last — but definitely not least — is the Blitz Astral Eye Shadow Quad: Ritualistic Rose, a palette for anyone who keeps reaching for pink shades. It includes the shades "Antique Gold 002" (a traditional gold), "Astral Rose Orchid" (a glittery rose gold), "Rose Quartz 005" (a metallic plum-tinted rose), and "Beyond Bronze 003" — the deeper, sparkly bronze.

MatteTrance Lipstick — $40 for single, $70 per duo

Bundled up in limited-edition packaging, each MatteTrance Lipstick shade was chosen because of how well it complemented the new Blitz Astral Eye Shadow Quads. Take your pick of six limited-edition MatteTrance Singles — which range from blushed-out nudes to dramatic scarlet — or grab a MatteTrance Duo, which lets you save $10 on two shades.
