Kim Kardashian Is Officially Expecting Her Fourth Child

The new year means new babies — or at least one new baby — for the Kardashian-Jenner clan. It seems like every time you think the family's baby boom is easing up, they announce another pregnancy. Now, Kim Kardashian is expecting a fourth child via surrogate.

People confirmed on Weds. that Kardashian and Kanye West have another little one on the way in 2019. The couple's family has been growing steadily since 2013, when they had their first, North, who's now 5 years old. Since then, the Kardashian-Wests have added Saint, 3, and Chicago, 11 months, to their crew.

Like Chicago, Kardashian has opted for a surrogate again. If you followed her pregnancies on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, you know that it was no walk in the park for the reality TV personality. A source close to her told Entertainment Tonight in 2016 that Saint would "definitely" be her last pregnancy.

And he was. But the couple certainly didn't let her complications stop them from growing their family. Although they reportedly considered adopting their next, the famous duo ultimately chose to have their third via surrogate.

Chicago West was born on Jan. 15. And now, not even a year later, a fourth child is on the way.

Kardashian's fourth will make Kris Jenner's 10th grandchild. Three of the nine were born in the past year alone. Between the birth of Chicago, Stormi (Feb. 1), and True (April 12), the famous family certainly had no shortage of babies in 2018.

In Aug., a source told People that although a fourth child was definitely on their radar, the couple was in no rush to give North, Saint, and Chicago a younger sibling. "Nothing seems decided for sure," the source said. "Chicago is still little, and they have time."

Apparently, Kardashian and West loved their surrogate so much they were talking about asking her to have their fourth mere days after Chicago was born. However, it's unclear just yet whether it is, in fact, the same surrogate who's carrying the next Kardashian-West.

It looks like the Kardashian siblings' Christmas card will include even more people this year (the 2018 version, in case you missed it, featured 13, and that's not even including Rob and his 2-year-old, Dream). Kim will now top the ultimate (and original) mom, Kourtney, for the having the most kids. Unfortunately, there's been no word as to what the family will name their new babe this time around, so you'll just have to stay tuned to find out.
