Although you might be of the belief that royals only wear bank-breaking, luxury fashion items, Kate Middleton's espadrille wedges are here to prove otherwise. The duchess, who's known to tackle high-low style mixing with utter ease, was recently spotted sporting the ultimate French-girl shoes that you can actually still get your hands on for a limited time. And no, they don't cost an arm and a leg, but rather they ring in at a reasonable $130.
Every royal fans' heartbeat speeds up a bit when there's a new Middleton (or Markle) sighting — and on July 10, the duchesses blessed the world with a dual outing. The two stepped out in support of Prince Harry, who was participating in The King Power Royal Charity Polo Day, with baby Archie and all of the Cambridge children in tow for a royal playdate.
The casual outing called for attire that was a bit more laid-back. No coat dress or suit set was in sight, but Markle did don the most perfect warm-weather T-shirt dress by Lisa Marie Fernandez. Middleton, taking an equally casual-chic route for the polo match, wore a midi-length, multi-colored frock from L.K.Bennett, a London-based label she shops nonstop.
But that wasn't the only familiar thing about Middleton;s ensemble. In fact, two major facets of the getup have appeared in many of her past looks before: a pair of fern-adorned hoop earrings by Catherine Zoraida (which she's had on hand since 2015) and brown, lace-up espadrilles the duchess has sported on seven separate, weather-permitting occasions this season.
In other words, it's safe to assume Middleton has officially found her favorite shoes of the season, and it's highly likely she'll step out wearing them many more times in the coming the weeks.
Although most royal-approved items are sold out before you even get a chance to press "Add to Cart," this isn't the case with Middleton's Castañer espadrilles. You can still cop her exact pair — though probably not for long. The duchess' perfect summer shoes, plus more like them, ahead.
