Jennifer Lopez Found The Easiest Weekend Uniform
After a busy weekday spent piecing together one office-friendly look after the other, it's only natural to want to take a more low-key approach come Sat. and Sun. Luckily, weekend dressing just became a whole lot easier (and a lot more stylish) with Jennifer Lopez's denim jumpsuit. Grab your credit cards, because once you set your sights on the singer's one piece, you'll be inspired to add it to your lineup this season, too.
It's quite rare to spot J. Lo in anything other than sporty basics when she's strolling the streets — she is the unofficial queen of athleisure, after all. But on Sat., the singer took a much different (albeit equally practical) route while getting ready for a family outing in Miami.
On April 20, Lopez was photographed hand in hand with Alex Rodriguez, wearing the weekend uniform you're going to want to recreate right away. The singer opted for a '70s-inspired denim jumpsuit, from Alice & Olivia, with a button-front design and a flowy, wide-leg silhouette. It also featured a waist belt for added shape and definition and rolled-up sleeves for a casual, nonchalant touch.
Lopez rounded out her off-duty outfit with a pair of sky-high Gucci platform wedges, silver Chanel sunglasses, Jennifer Fisher hoop earrings, a Hermès bracelet, and last but certainly not least, her favorite croc-effect Birkin bag. The end result? A retro-leaning ensemble with just the right amount of of-the-moment flair.
Of course, no J. Lo look is complete without a slicked-back topknot (a great low-maintenance weekend hairstyle) and a swipe of nude lipgloss.
Lopez took a slightly dressier route when it came to styling her chambray jumpsuit, but it would look just as fashion-forward paired with chunky-soled sneakers, a high ponytail, and a bright-red belt bag.
A cool denim jumpsuit is a weekend piece you can always lean on when you're short on time — or when you just don't feel like digging through your closet to put together a three-part look. Ahead, The Zoe Report's favorite Lopez-inspired jumpsuits to wear all season long.
