When it comes to curating a red carpet look, every single detail counts — from the pop of pink on your cheeks to the polish on your fingernails. You couldn't have missed Lady Gaga's eye-catching merlot hue, but Emma Stone's 2019 SAG Awards nail polish was much more understated. Even so, it shouldn't go unnoticed.

Nearly all the best-dressed celebrities from Sun.'s awards ceremony wore the same brand — not their dresses, of course, but their nail polish of choice. Essie seemed to be the unofficial sponsor of manicures at the SAG Awards.

Emily Blunt opted for the cheerful Cascade Cool hue while Yara Shahidi accessorized her dress-turned-jumpsuit with glittery disco ball nails, but did you see the perfectly subtle polish Emma Stone went for?

Stone, who was nominated twice for her roles in The Favourite and Maniac, wore the glitziest pantsuit consisting of a sequined and embellished top tucked into sleek black wide-leg trousers, all by Louis Vuitton. The blouse featured one long sleeve and a giant bow on the neckline. She balanced out all that glam with the most basic nude nail, courtesy of an Essie cult-classic shade.

Just $9 at your nearest drugstore, Essie's natural Ballet Slippers hue is an affordable celebrity favorite.

Which celebrities are obsessed with the pale pink shade, you ask? Well, the Queen, for starters, not to mention the immensely stylish Duchess of Cambridge.

Queen Elizabeth has historically disapproved of colorful polish (which doesn't bode well for that black color Meghan Markle has been wearing lately), but rumor has it she had a bottle of Essie's near-translucent Ballet Slippers sent to Buckingham Palace back in 1989. Now, Kate Middleton can't get enough of it, either, wearing it more times than can be named.

According to Emma Stone's manicurist, Emi Kudo, it's the actor's go-to shade, too.

"This was the perfect understated (yet elegant) shade to accompany her uber-chic, gold and black Louis Vuitton menswear look for this evening," Kudo said in a press release. "Even her hands adorned Louis Vuitton jewelry, so Essie’s cult-classic, subtle shade suited her perfectly."

Ahead, the celebrity favorite and other neutral polishes like it.
