Getting out of the house after the holidays is always a feat in itself. Whether they were filled with get-togethers with friends and family or quality time alone, when you’ve had a couple of days away from your routine, a slow dip back into the rhythm of life feels easier than a full-on swan dive. And more likely than not, you’ve been spending your time off in the most comfortable loungewear. And if you aren’t ready to swap those out for your more structured pieces just yet, Emily Ratajkowski’s leather coat will add a polished feel to your comfortable ensembles in seconds.

Considering their jam-packed schedules, celebrities have a knack for sporting the most casual clothes in the most chic way. However, no one does it quite like the actor and style-maven, EmRata. There's no doubt she has a knack for wearing sweats that feel both effortless and put together, and her latest outfit is no exception. Stepping out in New York City with her husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, and her dog on Dec. 28, the actor was in a complete cozy-chic look wearing sweatpants with a turtleneck sweater.

To combat the city’s chilling temperatures, Ratajkowski finished her look off with a shearling-trim leather coat from Spanish luxury designer Loewe — the brand responsible for a handful of chic It bags, including its Puzzle Bag. And when you have something from a brand known for its timeless, easy pieces, there’s no doubt that anything — including a pair of sweatpants — will feel elevated enough for everyday affairs like grabbing a cup of coffee or running errands.

As one might do when running out for a quick moment, Ratajkowski kept every other aspect of her outfit simple, wearing a pair of white adidas by Stella McCartney Ultra Boost Sneakers, $230 and $69 XRay Specs from Reality.

This isn’t the first time that the actor’s off-duty ensemble has stylishly featured a pair of sweatpants with a turtleneck top. Earlier this fall, the star wore a dark-gray version of the loungewear staple with a cropped turtleneck and a beige trench coat — proving that this comfortable outfit formula is one to keep in your regular rotation for casual everyday occasions, especially when you’re just getting out of vacation mode.
