Celine Dion's Haute Couture Looks Include $110 Sunglasses
The one to watch at Paris Fashion Week has clearly been Celine Dion. The Canadian singer staged a major comeback with a closet full of couture during this past week's high-fashion extravaganza abroad. In one of her best looks, she perfected French girl style and the key to Celine Dion's Parisian aesthetic is $100 cat-eye sunglasses.
She may be from francophone Canada, but this icon is an honorary Frenchy. She's seemed to naturally settle into the routine of a chic Parisian while in town for Haute Couture Fashion Week, putt-putting around the Eiffel Tower on a scooter and dressing like all the European girls do.
Dion has debuted almost a dozen looks in just three days, which has to be some sort of record, and they seem to just keep getting better each time. No trend is off-limits for this 51-year-old, who hasn't been even the least bit shy to sport a sheer gown, a bodysuit sans pants, head-to-toe camo and combat boots (need we continue?).
On Mon., she channeled her inner French girl with an all-black ensemble that oozed old-school Parisian glamour. Dion arrived at the Schiaparelli show wearing a show-stopping halter dress with long, leather gloves and peep-toe boots to match.
The singer accessorized with an eccentric headpiece and surprisingly affordable sunglasses.
Adhering to the retro theme, Dion opted for the ideal pair of cat-eye sunnies. While the rest of her outfit was, well, not exactly streetwear-worthy, these sunglasses certainly are.
The singer's glasses are from Féroce, the brainchild of Alex Baker, who is the current chief operating officer of New York's Fivestory. The inaugural collection features Dion's cat-eye style (the Emerald) and five others — all polarized, made of handcrafted acetate, and each only $110.
If this former Vegas staple is a fan, then you will be, too. Celine Dion's sunglasses and other affordable cat-eye styles, ahead.
