Festival season is now in full swing, and there's no denying that a key component to a chic outdoor concert look is the right shoe. That said, selecting a style you can stand and dance in for hours on end can make finding said shoe no easy feat. Fortunately, the Teva x Anna Sui collab has arrived and it's serving up uber-stylish sandals that provide the perfect balance of style and comfort.
If you follow the fashion shows, you may remember spotting these sandals during the Spring/Summer 2019 Anna Sui show, and now you can bring them into your own wardrobe. Available as of April 16, the limited-edition collaboration is available with four sandals that combine the functionality of a Teva with the whimsical prints and eye-catching colors Anna Sui is known and loved for.
"It was a great pleasure working with the Teva team and I’m so pleased with the success of this collaboration! Bringing my Teva dreams to life was so fun and I loved having the freedom of adding my signature Anna Sui flourishes to the classic sandals and platforms," said designer Anna Sui in a press release from the brand.
Composed of two silhouettes, the collaboration brought Teva's Flatform Universal and Indio Jewell styles to the next level with Sui's playful serpent and tropical bird designs and use of bold color-blocking. And, given both styles are available in two colorways, you can take your pick from either "Deep Teal" — a green and blue pairing — or you can opt for a pink and red combo dubbed "Lollipop."
For those who love the classic Teva strapping, you should first take a look at the $150 Flatform Universal. The lightweight platform sandal features a water-ready webbing upper that's not only durable, but will dry quickly after getting wet — something you'll be grateful for during unexpected showers.
However, if you really want to amp up the athletic vibe, check out the Indio Jewell for $275. The lightweight mesh and neoprene will allow your feet to breath and stay cool during those long hot days, and the luxe leather foot-bed makes them comfy for all-day wear. Go all out and pair this style up with a denim Bermuda short and Hawaiian shirt, or juxtapose the chunky terrain shape by wearing a breezy white dress.
Sporty sandals are definitely having a major moment this season, and this collection of styles is only further proof that the trend isn't slowing down anytime soon. So whether you're going to the festivals or not, you should consider bringing a pair of these statement-makers into your wardrobe.
Continue on to pick up a pair of these sandals to wear through festival season — and all the way through the rest of summer, for that matter.
