With one of the most-followed Instagram accounts in the world, Selena Gomez is no stranger to a well-lit selfie or a stunning style shot. The longtime entertainer has been open about social media's negative effect on her mental health, though, and even took a months-long break from the platform late last year. Upon her return back in Jan., the 27-year-old began slowly posting personal content again, including snaps from Italian vacays and backstage hangs with Kacey Musgraves at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. Selena Gomez's muted makeup look was one of her latest gems to hit the 'Gram, and it perfectly demonstrated a flawless approach to less-is-more beauty for fall.

Posted by celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo, the understated look featured warm beige eyeshadow, natural-looking brows, and a matte nude lip. With Gomez's shoulder-length lob styled into loose waves, the actor reiterated her distinct affinity for a seriously bomb selfie. "Another 24 hour trip in LA," Vanngo captioned the post, showcasing his skill for pared-down beats that still make an impact. But that's not to say he can't amp up the heat when the occasion calls, because he's the master behind some of Gomez's most talked about beauty looks, from glittery green eyeshadow to that perfect bold red lip at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.

As the world bids farewell to summer and gets ready for mild fall temps ahead, now is the time to reunite with your favorite rich, warm brown and auburn hues. As proven by the "Bad Liar" singer's minimal soft beat, a little bit of neutrals go a long way.
