There's no denying that this season's most coveted fashion and beauty trends draw inspiration from past decades. Chrissy Teigen went full '80s glam with her latest hair transformation, while nearly every celebrity has been reaching for '90s-inspired essentials as of late (think: plaid dresses, leather trench coats, and checked mini skirts). But although the '80s and '90s have been reigning supreme, Queen Letizia's blue belted dress proves the '60s are back and better than ever.

If you follow Queen Letizia of Spain's style closely, you'll know that she loves to experiment with fashion. Though all of her outfits manage to feel inherently classic, they never fail to incorporate at least one of-the-moment element, too. Last week, the Spanish royal tried her hand at the sheer trend with a dreamy metallic frock. And on Sun., she went full retro-chic in a '60s-inspired look you'll want to work into your office wardrobe ASAP.

On March 24, the King and Queen of Spain were photographed arriving in Buenos Aires for their first official visit to Argentina. The royal trendsetter deplaned in a belted Boss sheath dress that will take you back to the '60s in seconds. It features large, practical pockets on each side, a high front slit, and a bold waist belt — a true Letizia favorite.

The dress' classic silhouette — a fitted waist and a pencil skirt that hits right below the knee — screams "mod," but it's the blue hue that really took the look over the edge. Though bold prints and bright colors were another classic of the decade, toned-down pastel hues, just like that of Letizia's dress, really grew in popularity in the '60s.

Queen Letizia paired her retro-inspired frock with beige pointed-toe pumps and a coordinating clutch. She kept her jewelry to a minimum, only opting for a pair of stud earrings that ever-so-slightly peaked through her wind-blown hair.
