Adam Brody and Leighton Meester made a rare public appearance in Los Angeles on Mon., and the former teen drama stars looked happier than ever. Posing for photos at the premiere for Ready Or Not, Brody's latest project that just hit theaters, the longtime couple's style was on full display, but it was Leighton Meester's Michael Kors dress that stole the show. Donning a pleated floral-print gown from the American designer's ready-to-wear collection, the mother-of-one opted for a look more whimsical than Blair Waldorf's prim and proper vibe. Contrary to the Manhattanite character on Gossip Girl, Meester often reaches for flouncier numbers while hitting the red carpet.

With her brown bob falling just above the clavicle, the Texas native wore a warm smokey eye and a subtle nude lip. Enchanting onlookers in the formfitting frock, Meester accessorized the silk gown with a matching belt, a boxy clutch, and gold heeled sandals.

Even though the 33-year-old's look still reads summer, the satin dress is actually from Michael Kors' fall 2019 collection, and was styled with an oversized fluffy scarf and snake-print booties on the runway. As proven by the actor's beguiling look, it's a notably versatile piece that works year-round, making for a worthy investment.
