Kendall Jenner's Favorite Sunglasses Are Adding Mod Vibes To Her Summer Aesthetic
Kendall Jenner looks more dressed up during a jaunt to the bodega than most of us do on our best days. Being the chic supermodel she is, the 23-year-old sported a tangerine midi and sparkly sandal heels while stopping by the corner shop for a Coke. The dress is sold out, but you can always recreate Kendall Jenner's style with the sunglasses she can't stop wearing.
The street style queen strikes again, and this time, it's a timeless dress that has everyone talking rather than her usual spin on the season's "ugly" trends. There certainly was nothing ugly about the model's latest glam moment, courtesy of a form-fitting orange midi and crystal-embellished Amina Muaddi stilettos.
You might have seen her posing with a sunflower on a sofa the same shade as her Bec + Bridge dress in her Instagram slideshow. In the series, there's also a picture taken from the New York bodega's CCTV cameras of Jenner at the cash register, oozing coolness as she looks over her sunnies.
In fact, those sunglasses have been making quite a few appearances in the model's recent looks. The glasses, by Velvet Canyon, are a dreamy throwback to the mod '60s and, needless to say, they were right on theme.
Named after the iconic French song, "Zou Bisou Bisou," they feature a retro rectangular shape with the subtlest cat eye and thick black frames. Something about these sunnies paired with teased hair and Jenner's sunny pencil dress gave off old-school Jean Shrimpton vibes.
The model started sporting them in early June and hasn't put them away since. She's worn them with red denim co-ords and those edgy brown leather-paneled riding pants she debuted last week.
In other words, you can expect to be seeing a lot more of this mod accessory in Jenner's future. You might as well make them a staple in your summer wardrobe, too.
