Amidst all the footwear trends that have emerged this year, from strappy '90s heels to the ever-polarizing chunky hiking sandals, the sporty-comfort shoe that is a pair of sneakers has maintained its reign as the top pick. That said, there's one trainer, in particular, that's taken Hollywood by storm — and it's an old-school one you probably donned back in the high school. For a look at the kicks that just about every tastemaker has lined up in their closet right now, draw your attention toward Kate Upton's white sneakers (and no, these won't break the bank).

There have been plenty of standout Upton style sightings this week — but the best one came on Tues. The model, who has been parading all around the Big Apple, doing press for her latest, groundbreaking Health shoot (in which she appears un-retouched), took a break from work to go for a leisurely stroll around Manhattan with her daughter.

Comfort was key for the outing, which is why Upton went with the usual casual basics, including medium-wash jeans and a vintage Wonder Woman T-shirt by Lauren Moshi. She accessorized with a Gucci crossbody bag (being handsfree is a must when you're on the go, after all), her favorite Privé Revaux sunglasses, and a pair of classic white Reeboks. If you feel like you've seen the kicks on just about every celeb this season, it's because you have.

Other notable names who have been rocking these old-school Reeboks — which are made from a soft leather upper that gives superior comfort and have a die-cut EVA midsole that provides lightweight cushioning — include Kate Bosworth and Chloë Sevigny, both of whom teamed the kicks with mini dresses. Upton took a more classic styling route with her, though both options are ideal for fall.

White sneakers and retro-inspired footwear have been trending — and these celeb-approved Reeboks tick off both boxes. Better yet, they ring in at a super-reasonable $75, so you won't have to spend big bucks to emulate these tastemakers' off-duty getups.
