Jessica Alba's Travel Style Includes The Most Unlikely Style Duo
Going to the airport might have you reaching for your favorite pair of sweatpants, but it doesn't always have to be that way — just ask your favorite celebrities. Jessica Alba's latest jumpsuit and sandals travel look proves just how easy it can be to look polished while in line for security. By pairing two pieces together that take almost no time to put on, you'll be out the door in no time — with neither leggings nor a hoodie in sight.
In a series of photos posted to her Instagram page, Alba showed off her Isabel Marant Étoile jumpsuit and black Birkenstocks sandals while lounging in The Private Suite at LAX in Los Angeles. The actor was joined by her friend Lizzy Mathis as they jetted off to New York City to do press for Alba's home and beauty brand, The Honest Company. The duo dined on avocado toast and coffee while in the luxe terminal before getting on board.
When it came to the rest of her accessories, Alba opted for a longline brown cardigan, and a beige and brown Dior tote bag that coordinated with the rest of her outfit perfectly. Alba was also carrying a beige monochrome suitcase by Beis, a new travel brand founded by fellow actor Shay Mitchell. A pair of gold studs finished off her simple ensemble.
If the jumpsuit looks familiar, that's because this isn't the first time you've seen an A-lister wear it. In fact, Gigi Hadid wore the same one recently while in Florence for Pitti Uomo's Spring 2020 presentation. Both Hadid and Alba styled the one-piece in a similar fashion — with a pair of chunkier black shoes. Hadid opted for a pair of combat boots, while Alba obviously wore menswear-inspired black slides. Consider Hadid's outfit the fall/winter version, while Alba's sandals make it perfect for spring/summer — proving just how versatile the same piece can be in your wardrobe.
You can shop Alba's own jumpsuit right now, but act quick — it's nearly sold out everywhere thanks to how popular it's been. And, if the price point is a bit on the high end, fret not. You don't have to spend a small fortune to channel Alba's look the next time you head to the airpot. Brands like ASOS and Urban Outfitters make options for under $100 that are still sleek and elevated. When shopping in the summer months, look for options in lighter fabrics like linen with statement-making floral prints. Not only do they work perfectly in-flight but, when styled correctly, can work for office environments as well. Simply swap out your slides for a pair of mules or heels, and you'll be good to go.
