If you’ve ever woken up and suddenly wanted a wardrobe refresh, consider adding something bright into the mix. It might seem like a bold choice but, if Jennifer Garner’s floral midi dress is any indication, a pop of color can seriously pump some life back into your closet this season. Luckily, hers is still available online right now, so shop it while you can.

A great dress in a vibrant color is a wardrobe essential once the weather heats up. Just like your go-to denim cut-offs or favorite black bathing suit, a summer dress is the perfect thing to throw on when you’re not sure what to wear in the morning. But, unlike your shorts, a patterned dress can pull double-duty from the office to friend and family time on the weekends. Jennifer Garner proved just how versatile the piece can be when she wore a pink and blue Carolina Herrera version to church alongside her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, and their three children in Los Angeles, California on June 23.

Garner styled her piece with a pair of black Lanvin mule sandals and a relaxed navy blue cardigan. She finished off her outfit with an oversized brown tote bag and black sunglasses, both by Céline. Her hair was pulled back into a relaxed ponytail, and her makeup was kept neutral and rosy.

This is just the latest installment in Garner’s seemingly endless love affair with patterned midi dresses. In fact, they’ve become a staple in her wardrobe for spring and now summer. She wore two in the month of April alone: a pink wrap-style Tanya Taylor option to church and a crimson-colored frock by Victoria Beckham while out in London. In every instance, the actor let the statement prints do the talking by keeping the rest of her accessories neutral.

If you’re looking to add a similar style to your wardrobe this summer, consider investing in a designer who makes timeless styles like Diane Von Furstenberg or Carolina Herrera. Although expensive, pieces from these namesake lines can last through a lifetime of weddings and general life occasions. But, if it’s a more modern take that you’re after, fashion-girl favorite Réalisation Par has become known for its silky slip options. And if you’re feeling more feminine, try looking for delicate details like exaggerated sleeves or ruffles. Ahead, The Zoe Report rounded up the best floral midi dresses available on the market right now.
