Gigi Hadid’s Blue Fleece Pullover Is The Fashion-Girl Way To Stay Warm This Winter

Combining style with warmth is no easy feat, but Gigi Hadid's blue fleece pullover is the perfect cold-weather piece. The model battled New York City's plunging temperatures in the coziest teddy bear sweater on Wed. afternoon, and she certainly didn't sacrifice her aesthetic for it. It's a good thing that fuzzy sweaters are everywhere this season — as Hadid proves so well, they're the easiest way to stay warm and stylish all at once.

The 23-year-old sported Sandy Liang's baby-blue Bean Pullover — a slightly cropped sweater defined by its emerald-green zipper, contrast elbow patches, and pink lining — on her way to the Moschino x H&M show. The model wore her ultra-cozy piece with a pair of perfectly tailored, two-toned trousers with a kick-flare cut and sleek snakeskin ankle boots. Hadid accessorized her off-duty look with a white crossbody bag and retro sunglasses (her and sister Bella's go-to).

If anyone can dress up a pullover, it's Hadid. The model's outfit was all business on the bottom and incredibly cozy on top, but she struck a balance between the two extremes effortlessly. Her eclectic look is all the proof you need that chunky fleeces are no longer just lazy outerwear to walk the dog in.

Hadid's cozy layer is reminiscent of the iconic Synchilla fleece that Patagonia pioneered in the '70s (and is still one of the brand's bestselling pieces). However, several designers have made the adventure-ready sweater more fashion-focused lately. Everlane, for instance, recently released a whole line of them that are made of recycled plastic bottles. The collection, aptly called ReNew, features cozy plush sweatshirts in just about every color.

There are a slew of trendy teddy bear sweaters on the market these days, but the model's Sandy Liang pullover is just her style. Hadid's street style is often composed of cropped sweaters, a fashion-forward pair of jeans, and chunky white sneakers or sleek booties. The young designer has even launched a line full of cut-off hoodies, cropped sweaters, and more with Tommy Hilfiger (spring 2018 marks the fourth season for the Tommy x Gigi line).

The model's fleece pullover is a good fit for any off-duty look. Pair a cropped version of the winter staple with your favorite pair of high-waisted jeans or layer a full-zip over a turtleneck in true '90s style. Eager to warm up with a sweater like Hadid's?
