It's easy to fall back on your tried-and-true color combinations, especially in the winter. After all, dressing ruts — and an overall loss of outfit creativity — are far too common during cold-weather season. That's why Emma Watson's green suit and yellow shoe pairing couldn't have come at a better time. The actor just debuted the most unexpected (though nonetheless brilliant) duo of the season — and you're going to want to follow her lead ASAP.

Color is nothing new in Watson's wardrobe. While she oftentimes turns to crisp whites and elegant blacks for red carpet appearances, she loves playing with vivid shades and sweet, blossoming prints, too, with her latest ensemble being the perfect example of the latter.

On Feb. 19, Watson, who has long been an advocate in promoting gender equality, attended the first meeting for the G7 Advisory Council for Gender Equality held at the Élysée Palace in Paris. For the occasion, the 28-year-old wore the perfect power suit by Alexa Chung — a polished two-piece set that felt slightly less stuffy than many others on the market.

Her forest-green blazer and coordinating trousers were decorated with small, white flowers that will have you counting down the days until spring's official arrival. But it's not only the blooming pattern that felt inherently fresh and fun — her poppy-yellow heels infused the look with the perfect dose of unexpected color, proving that green and yellow are a combo worth trying.

What's more, a closer look at Watson's beauty look reveals that she played off of the lemony shoes with her makeup, as well. Yep, the actor brushed a soft-yellow shadow on the outer corner of her lids — a brilliant beauty hack that might convince you to coordinate your eyeshadow with your heels, too.

Allow Watson to inspire you to toss your usual black-and-white combo aside and replace it with green and yellow, instead. Regardless of how you choose to wear it, one thing's for certain: You'll be rocking a unique color combination that's bound to be big in the coming months.
