Emily Blunt was the woman of the hour at Thurs. evening's screening of Mary Poppins Returns. She wore the sleekest monochromatic knit and trouser combo that you'll be eager to copy all winter long. Emily Blunt's green outfit was the look of the week, and it's so simple to recreate.

Celebs like Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Harry Connick Jr. gathered at New York's iconic Feinstein's/54 Below for a screening of the Golden Globe-nominated Disney film Mary Poppins Returns. Of course the Poppins actor, herself, was in attendance looking as stunning as you would expect.

After nailing her red-carpet look with a silver Alexander McQueen gown and a Joan of Arc-inspired Dutch braid at Sun.'s awards show, Blunt is making fans swoon yet again, but this time with a less formal ensemble.

The evening called for casual-dressy attire, so Blunt tucked a low-key knit into a pair of sophisticated trousers — both of which were a rich mossy-green hue. The sweater was form-fitting with a crew neck, while the wide-leg pants featured a trendy crisscrossed waistline.

Posing for photos with her longtime besties, Reynolds and Lively (who wore the most fashion-forward blazer dress), Blunt had her hair down in natural-looking waves and accessorized with the subtlest necklace and dangly earrings.

Monochrome is no new idea, but Blunt's latest outfit is just too good to go unnoticed. Often, people take the easiest route with a matching set, but the London-born actor's combo was meticulously curated to be just matchy enough to be called monochrome. Yet, it also featured a bit of contrast.

The texture of the ribbed knit was so different from her satiny pants, and although similar, the colors didn't match up perfectly, either (but in the best way). The trousers were a rich, dark green and the top a lighter, mossy-like hue.

Take this winter-ready outfit into next week with these monochrome combos handpicked by The Zoe Report, ahead.
