With months of frigid temps behind us and daylight savings just a month out, the light at the end of the tunnel is beginning to shine. As you hunker down for the remainder of winter, it's perfectly fine to stay swaddled up like a human burrito, ideally in a blanket — but Dakota Johnson's cashmere coat is a close second.

The Suspiria actor stepped out with sister Grace Johnson for a coffee run in Los Angeles on Tues., serving L.A. cool with an effortlessly chic look that was equal parts comfortable. Opting for black skinny jeans and a band tee layered beneath the floor-length coat, the Gucci model rounded out her low-key outfit with pearl-embellished ankle boots from the Italian luxury fashion house.

With street-style stars like Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner opting for puffers and leather trench coats throughout the season, Johnson's luxurious duster is a cozy departure from the norm. It's worth noting the actor was in mild Los Angeles, so New Yorkers may need another layer beneath or atop the snuggly staple. Then again, the city was blessed with uncharacteristically warm weather in Feb., so why not keep it on deck for surprisingly sunny days? And spring is just around the bend, so a blanket-like piece will get plenty of wear in the mild months to come.

When the actor isn't serving up beguiling looks on the red carpet, Johnson keeps her style fairly simple and understated. Roomy jeans, tees, and flowy sundresses are her go-tos, and she usually manages to sneak in a Gucci accessory one way or another. Just like her laid-back demeanor, the Fifty Shades star's street style is minimal and easy, but smart.

The Johnson sisters' coffee date appears to be an ideal chill day, and whether you're more drawn toward the latte or the Gucci, do yourself a favor and invite a cozy duster into your closet for spring. On days when you can't be bothered with boxy blazers or hardened moto jackets, go with the flow in a floaty knitwear staple instead.
