Celine Dion Wore A Sophisticated Take On This Bold Color Trend
The queen of haute couture strikes again — but this time in a new city. Celine Dion's neon-pink suit is the latest style move from the iconic Canadian singer to leave fans absolutely speechless. But really, did you expect anything less from the 51-year-old after her epic seven-day Paris Haute Couture Week fashion streak? Not really.
Dion has left the City of Lights and is now parading around London. It appears she arrived in England not to attend the tennis extravagant that is Wimbledon, but rather to perform at British Summer Time Hyde Park 2019. Dion took the stage for day one of the music festival, which officially kicked off July 5 and goes until July 14.
On stage, the 51-year-old style icon sported a cobalt-blue, sequin-embellished jumpsuit with extra-puffy shoulders. Her hair was pulled back into a tight topknot, which put her dazzling hoops on full display. That outfit was certainly one for the sartorial history books, but the ensemble she wore just a few hours prior to her performance ultimately stole the show — and with good reason.
Dion, donning a hot-pink suit, was impossibly hard to miss on the streets of London on July 5, where she stopped for a brief meet and greet with fans before hitting the stage at the festival. The singer's set, which features a fitted blazer and coordinating straight-leg trousers, is right in line with the neon color trend that's been dominating the fashion world for a few months now.
Highlighter hues like slime-green, traffic cone orange, and lemony yellow have all been favored by the likes of Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin, but no color has garnered quite as much buzz this month as hot pink — and Dion is the latest proof.
The "My Heart Will Go On" singer added pops of contrasting white with a crisp tee, strappy heels, and a pair of Le Specs sunglasses. As the queen of affordable eyewear, it should come as no surprise that her sun-shielding shades cost a cool $79.
