Helen Mirren And Jane Fonda Walked L’Oréal’s Runway And Completely Stole The Show
We already knew that Jane Fonda and Helen Mirren were straight-up queens (need we remind you of Fonda’s fierce look at this year’s Emmys?), but today, when the two septuagenarians showed up to grace the catwalk for L’Oréal’s runway show in Paris, we were blown away. The major beauty brand teamed up with 18 fashion houses and created 70 different makeup looks for the show—the first of its kind—but the highlight for us was getting to see the two icons strut down the stage on the Champs-Élysées. Fonda, in a figure-flattering animal-print dress, and Mirren, in a chic menswear-inspired outfit, more than held their own amid models like Doutzen Kroes and Soo Joo Park. We’ve been loving the trend of seeing women over 40 on the runway, but we’ve got to admit that this was one of the brightest highlights of the season thus far.
