Though aging often gets a bad rap, it’s actually a thing to be celebrated — what’s more beautiful than living a long, full life and gaining all the wisdom and changes that come with it? That said, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with making the *process* of aging a little more enjoyable, and that seems to be what one company has set out to do. New Swiss brand Timeline Nutrition is on a mission to promote healthspan by “optimizing cellular health” through a science-first approach. And it’s so compelling, longtime model and dietitian Maye Musk has gotten on board as the face of Timeline Nutrition to help bring a greater awareness of the brand’s research and results to the masses.
As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with two master’s degrees, Musk admits she is skeptical of many wellness products. But it’s actually because of her background and knowledge that she was willing to give Timeline Nutrition her stamp of approval. “I don’t endorse dietary supplements, because most of them lack rigorous scientific evidence, but Timeline Nutrition is different,” she said in a statement. “It’s backed by over 10 years of research, multiple clinical studies which show that it works.”
As for that science? The brand has launched a proprietary bioactive called Mitopure, which is a pure form of Urolithin A — a molecule that Timeline Nutrition says is “only produced as a by-product when gut bacteria digest specific ingredients found in pomegranates and a few other foods.” Many people lack the right bacteria to produce beneficial levels of Urolithin A, which means they’re not getting the support for cellular health and muscle function that it provides. Thus, Mitopure steps in and “unlocks this potent bioactive for everyone, even those without the right bacteria to produce it from diet.”
“From the research, if I had to choose a glass of pomegranate juice or Mitopure, I would choose Mitopure as it is a faster way to add the health benefits of pomegranate to my daily routine,” said Musk.
You can try Mitopure for yourself in a couple of different ways. The brand offers Mitopure Softgels, Mitopure Powder, and Mitopure + Protein, all of which are available to buy on its site. (Musk herself uses the powder form in her yogurt and the pills when traveling.)
