Is this real life? The casting for Disney’s live action The Lion King was just revealed, and it’s like someone sifted through our gray matter and plucked out our dream cast. It stars James Earl Jones as Mufasa (we can’t), Keegan-Michael Key as a new hyena named Kamari (into it), Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen as Timon and Pumba (we’re dying), Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar and John Oliver as Zazu. Oh, and did we mention Simba and Nala will be voiced by Donald Glover and Beyoncé, respectively? That’s it. We’re deceased. Since we’re no longer functioning, take a look at the rest of the cast as confirmed by the goddess herself, Bey.
The Lion King is scheduled for release in 2019.
