George And Amal Announced The Birth Of Their Twins In The Cutest Way

We’ve been watching—and admiring—Amal Clooney’s stylishly dressed baby bump for what seems like an eternity, but now we can officially transition into coveting the ensembles of her sweet little ones. That’s right, very early this morning the human-rights lawyer and her husband, George Clooney, finally got to welcome their twins, Ella and Alexander, into the world.

We take it these two are in a state of total bliss after the birth of their healthy babies, but the actor (who never misses the chance for a good joke) had to have a little fun with his announcement: “Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover in a few days.” We can only imagine all the forthcoming dad jokes. Regardless, these two seem so ready to tackle parenthood, and we’re looking forward to seeing their family grow. Congratulations!
