Anika Ljung

Anika Ljung is a freelance fashion writer at The Zoe Report covering everything from latest trends to styling tips to industry features. She has written fashion, entertainment, and culture content for V Magazine, V MAN, CR Fashion Book, and Brides, among others, and is an assistant stylist for various independent creatives around the city.

Born and raised in Northern California, Anika graduated summa cum laude from Cal State University, Long Beach in 2020 where she was digital director of her school’s magazine, DIG Mag. While there, she was awarded second place for Best Arts or Entertainment Profile by the Los Angeles Press Club in April 2021 for her reporting on an immigrant dancer making her way in the United States. Upon receiving her B.A in journalism and B.A in dance, she moved across the country to attend New York University, graduating with her M.A. in journalism with a concentration in magazine and digital media in 2022. As a longtime dancer and lover of art and design, she now melds fashion writing, styling, and photography in her freelance endeavors.
