Victoria's Secret Is Relaunching Swim Online Just In Time For Spring
Vivé Victoria Secret swimwear. After listening to its fans, the lingerie and lifestyle brand announced it would be bringing back the beloved (but then-shelved) Victoria's Secret Swim line late last year. And when you browse the online collection — which dropped March 18, just in time for warmer weather — you may see why Victoria's Secret shoppers desperately want the beloved swimwear back. Then and now, Victoria's Secret's colorful and sexy lingerie styles translate so well as high-waisted bikinis and '80s-inspired, Brazilian one-pieces. The only thing missing is the ocean.
You'll spot the same trends expertly used in the Victoria's Secret Spring collection; colors are either soft and muted or electrifyingly bright. And the collection is bound to be received well by fans of the brand (who are already flocking to Victoria's Secret's Instagram to celebrate). Certain pieces — like the sultry $78 Victoria's Secret Open Side High-leg One-Piece — are destined to be spotted in vacation pics across Instagram once summer arrives. The swimsuit features a whimsical, waist-cinching tie you can knot in the front or back, reminiscent of the customizable "upside-down bikini" trend from last year. There's no escaping the sultry silhouette of the swimsuit, either — the high-leg design offers "lots of cheek peek", according to the brand's product description.
Which may not be for you. If so, try one of the other brands Victoria's Secret brought into its online swim selection; the store began stocking designs by popular swimwear brands like Seafolly, FAE, and more. With the new additions came fits that are different than the traditional Victoria's Secret swim collection: the $145 allSisters Curved Cutout One-Piece is minimalist and sleek, while the $162 Seafolly Cap Sleeve One-Piece is an option for those who prefer more coverage than a Brazilian one-piece provides. And like the cheeky suit from earlier, you're definitely going to see the stunning $145 Cutout Buckle One-Piece from FAE around social media this summer, thanks to Victoria's Secret. It has the same wow factor.
