Tamara Mellon Teamed Up With A.L.C. To Create Work Shoes You’ll *Actually* Want To Wear

After 15 years of friendship, A.L.C.’s founder Andrea Lieberman and luxury shoe designer Tamara Mellon have teamed up to create new, ‘80s-inspired silhouettes designed specifically for your power-dressing moments. The Pivot, which ranges in price from $475 to $495, is a low-heel d’Orsay pump that comes in timeless black leather. The effortless heel also comes in two haircalf prints: zebra and leopard. And for those who want a cool boot to wear through fall, there’s the Axis, a mid-calf boot that comes in black suede, $695, and zebra haircalf, $995.

Available on both brands’ websites as well as their retail stores, these comfortable shoes will be the only ones you need to give your work wardrobe a simple update for the new season.

“We wanted to create the perfect silhouettes that complement our woman, whether she’s in the boardroom or beyond her office walls,” Mellon said in a press release. With the Pivot and Axis shoes, the designers set out to redefine power dressing for the modern woman.

Whether you work in a more corporate environment that requires a business professional wardrobe or you find yourself in polished casual ensembles each day, you can’t go wrong with one of the Pivot heels.
