Ah, the oftentimes tricky sartorial situation that is date-night dressing. If you've found yourself standing in front of your closet for hours, picking through all your things, only to feel like you have absolutely nothing to wear to that fancy dinner with your significant other, you're not alone. It's an all too common scenario that's, well, just plain stressful. The key to making date-night style much less taxing? Rocking an all-black look like Sophia Bush just did. The monochrome outfit — especially when it centers around a sleek black tuxedo — is a foolproof formula that you can always fall back on.

The classic LBD has just met its match. Enter, the BTS (aka, black tuxedo suit), which just made a memorable street-style debut via Bush's latest evening outing. If you love the sleek, timeless appeal of your favorite black mini, midi, or maxi, but have been wanting to lean a bit more into the ever-popular menswear-inspired trend, the actor's two-piece is a great option.

On Oct. 13, Bush was photographed leaving buzzy L.A. eatery, Craig's — a restaurant that never fails to boast an all-star lineup of celebrity evening looks that you should definitely commit to memory for your next dinner plans.

Bush's ensemble, which included a two-piece suit that draws inspiration from a classic tuxedo, is about as elegant as it gets. It features classic, straight-leg black trousers, plus an oversized, double-breasted blazer designed with large, satin lapels and bold, sharp shoulders. What's more, it proves three key things: 1) The oversized trend is here to stay; 2) Suits are as sought-after as ever; and 3) A BTS (black tuxedo suit) is a date-night must.

Of course, Bush's styling direction deserves mention, too. Everything from her accessories to her hairstyle of choice took the suit to new levelness of chicness.

On her ear lobes were a pair of large, extra-dazzling diamond earrings that sparkled so bright — really, you might to shield your eyes (or at least put on a pair of sunglasses before looking at them). She anchored her date-night look with thin-strapped sandals that harked on the ever-popular '90s footwear trend, rounding out everything with the low-maintenance beauty approach that's perfect for an evening on the town: a slicked back bun, a few coats of mascara, and a bright-red lip.
