This Is How Shanina Shaik Does Cozy Weekend Style

Aside from not having to set an alarm and taking a much-needed break from screen time, one major highlight of the beloved weekend is dressing as cozy as your heart desires. Saying goodbye to your office-wear wardrobe and throwing on plush sweatshirts, baggy jeans, and hair ties is what weekends are all about. And when it comes to off-duty style, models are total pros, as evident by Shanina Shaik’s blue cashmere sweater. The Victoria's Secret Angel proved she knows how to do Sunday style right — and effortlessly, at that.

The model was photographed carrying a bouquet of flowers in New York City on Nov. 18, and her bright-colored knitwear was hard to miss. Shaik's Alberta Ferretti sweater, which features the word "Sunday" in green, graphic letters, was the perfect addition to her off-duty look. Even though reaching for denim or leggings might seem like a natural choice for a laid-back weekend look, the 27-year-old decided to shake things up, instead opting for a casual update to traditional pinstripe pants.

Rather than going with sneakers or flats, she chose a slender pair of stiletto Tony Bianco booties, and finished off the look with chic cat-eye sunglasses by the Australian brand It girls love, Rixx Eyewear. As you can see, adding some height in the shoe department can instantly elevate any relaxed outfit, as can a fashion-forward pair of shades.

To accompany the comfy, winter-ready fit, the Victoria's Secret model kept her beauty vibe understated. Sporting a sleek topknot, a touch of bronzer, and a nude lip, the 27-year-old really let the sweater do the work in her off-duty look. As temperatures continue to drop, you might be looking to add some statement sweatshirts and chunky knits to your winter wardrobe, too, and this look is an important reminder that warmer layers don't have to read boring.
