If Selena Gomez's Instagram feed doesn't have you craving a new summer wardrobe, a ticket to Capri, or an evening in with La Dolce Vita and tiramisu, at the very least, then something is wrong. The singer is looking like a true Italian by the way she's been dressing on her birthday trip to the Bay of Naples. And like a fine Tuscan wine, Selena Gomez's vacation style just keeps getting better over time.
The prestine coast of Italy sounds like a pretty good place to ring in a birthday. Gomez, who turned 27 on July 22, has been across the pond for more than a week now and, if her outfits are any indication, she seems to be fitting right in.
Her fans have been swooning over the many breezy summer dresses she brought along on the trip — one from Zara and two from Three Graces — but, little did they know, the singer was only getting started in the holiday chicness department.
Gomez's vacation style peaked on Fri., when she shared a photo of herself in one of those charming gondolas wearing the most romantic dress of all time. Her pretty midi, by RIXO, featured a sweetheart neckline and sheer blouson sleeves adorned with red roses.
The bottom half of the dress was black with a red polka-dot pattern because if you know anything about Rixo, you know mixing polka dots with florals is sort of the label's thing.
"Trying desperately to look like a Fellini film," Gomez wrote in the caption and it's safe to say she's succeeding. The photo is enough to make you want to pack up your florals and head to Italia right this minute.
