This Emerging Activewear Brand Just Added Sustainably Made Leggings To Its Lineup
It's easy to fall into the habit of grabbing the same pair of leggings or turning to one brand over and over again for activewear pieces. So, if you're ready to switch it up and add a new emerging brand into the mix, you've come to the right place. Look no further than Norba's spring activewear collection: A range of stylishly understated essentials that'll leave minimalists swooning. Even better? The latest collection incorporates sustainable practices, so you can slip on the comfortable styles while knowing they're environmentally conscious.
While you may not yet be familiar with Norba, this is a name you're likely going to see a lot more of in the coming months. Started by two sisters in 2018, the brand's second collection expands on its versatile range of refined sporty styles while adding in a fresh dose of color that'll give your activewear drawer a boost.
In addition to having the option to scoop up tops and bottoms in summer-ready hues of red, coral, and marine blue, the second drop from Norba uses a new sustainable fabric for the brand. The collection is made with ECONYL® — an Italian regenerated nylon made of different types of waste, including fishnets, fabric scraps, and carpets — that performs the same as virgin nylon. On top of that, the ECONYL® regenerated nylon can be recycled and reused so there's no waste.
This performance fabric will not only work well for low-impact classes but for high-intensity workouts like jogging and cross-training, too. Plus, given the collection's clean, minimal aesthetic, you can style pieces a multitude of ways in and out of the gym. Take this V-neck, wide-strap bra, for one; it'll match up just as nicely with a pair of the coral-colored leggings for class as it will with your favorite high-waisted jeans and a cardigan.
Another piece to take note of? The $69 Bike Shorts. It’s no secret that this silhouette is trending, and with summer just around the corner, now makes for the perfect time to snag yourself a pair in black, nude, or coral. Match the shorts up with the thin-strapped, triangle-back bra for yoga in the morning, and throw on a blazer and woven pumps for brunch with friends.
