Fall 2019 Paris Couture Week is currently underway — and you know what that means, right? The fashion and beauty looks that debuted both on the runways and on the cobblestone streets of the French capital are every bit as dreamy as you could have hoped. But there's one fashion icon's outfit, in particular, that's sent the sartorial world buzzing, thanks to a rather unexpected (albeit) very welcomed accessory of choice. Yep, supermodel Naomi Campbell's summer street style included the most nostalgia-inducing piece — ever. And no, it's not a pair of jelly sandals, a choker, hair clips, or anything of the like.
It's not all business for models during fashion week — oftentimes, they're able to sprinkle in a little bit of downtime to just have some fun and enjoy themselves. Such was the case on June 30 (the official kickoff date of Paris Couture Week), when a slew of the industry's biggest runway superstars spent the evening at Disneyland Paris to celebrate the resort’s new The Lion King & Jungle Festival — an experience that allows visitors to rediscover two legendary stories by attending interactive shows and taking part in once-in-a-lifetime experiences, all of which are exclusive to Disneyland Paris.
On Sun., Campbell — alongside Candice Swanepoel, Sara Sampaio, and Romee Strijd, to name a few — embraced her inner child while taking in all the newly-opened festival had to offer. Per usual, the supermodel looked as chic as ever for the festival kickoff, donning a chestnut-hued utility jumpsuit that was right in line with summer 2019's ever-popular workwear trend. Her one-piece featured contrasting white seams, roomy front pockets, tortoiseshell buttons, and a waist belt for a form-fitting touch.
Campbell truly shined in the accessories department for the June 30 outing. A handful of necklaces, stacked bracelets, and cat-eye sunglasses added major glam to her practical Disneyland getup, but the glistening, look-at-me now addition that simply stole the show? A pair Minnie Mouse ears. Of course, they weren't your average mouse ears. Instead, hers were glitzy in all the right ways, in that they were gold, sequin-adorned perfection.
Campbell's mouse ears are a classic part of the Disneyland experience, but considering the fact that statement headbands have infiltrated the street-style scene majorly this season, it's possible the supermodel will keep wearing them outside of the resort grounds, too.
Ahead, The Zoe Report rounded up the cutest headbands to wear all summer long. Shop them all, below.
