Michelle Obama's Book Tour Wardrobe Keeps Getting Chicer — Her Latest Outfit Is Proof

Michelle Obama certainly didn't earn the title of First Lady of Fashion for no reason. During her time in the White House, printed frocks, billowy blouses, and refined trousers defined her classic yet trend-forward style. And though these pieces are still a mainstay in her wardrobe nowadays, the former FLOTUS has undoubtedly been taking many more fashion risks. Case in point: Michelle Obama's green suit — a two piece set that's equal parts bold and chic.

Obama officially kicked off the European portion of her book tour on Tues., making her first stop in Copenhagen's Royal Arena. Perhaps unsurprisingly, her outfit of choice was all the fashion-obsessed could talk about. The former first lady hit the stage in a beautifully embellished pink suit by up-and-coming Danish designer, Stine Goya.

She continued her über-stylish suit streak for her second book tour stop. On Wed., Obama sat down for an intimate conversation at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm in a custom-made suit that was just as striking as her pink set.

Obama's suit was, fittingly, by Stockholm-based fashion house, Acne Studios. It was rendered in a soft, mint-green hue and featured a cropped blazer (complete with embellishments along the top and on the lapels) and high-waisted trousers with side slits. She grounded her look with glittery, pointed-toe pumps that played off of her blazer's embroidered detailing perfectly.

Obama showed off her embellished blazer in an Instagram post on Wed. "I’m so thrilled to be in Europe this week! We kicked off our trip in Copenhagen, tonight we’re in Stockholm, and we’ll also make our way to Oslo, London, Paris, and Amsterdam," she wrote. "I’m so excited to visit these beautiful cities and can’t wait to hear the inspiring stories from so many new faces."

If her first two European book tour appearances proved anything, it's that she's definitely going to have a bit of fun with her outfits (and she'll likely continue to support local designers, too).

Though you won't be able to get your hands on Obama's exact Acne Studios suit, the market is chock-full of equally dreamy finds. Ahead, The Zoe Report's favorite that channel the author's recent outfits to a T.
