No need to get creative with your weekend outfit when you've got a pair of wide-leg statement jeans like Lucy Hale's. The actor traded in her signature athleisure for a full-on '70s ensemble (complete with John Lennon sunglasses and a wide-brim hat) on Thurs. and it's about to become your lazy day go-to. All you need is this quirky pair of jeans.

On any given day, you can typically find Hale en route to a yoga class, or, at least looking like she's en route to a yoga class. That is to say, the girl rarely leaves the house in anything besides leggings and a crop top these days.

Her rare denim moment on Thurs., however, was an exception to the rule. The 30-year-old slipped into her best anti-skinny jean for the special occasion and basically just ran with the '70s theme.

AMO's Sailor Jeans are to thank for Hale's new retro aesthetic. The $285 pants feature a high waist and cropped profile. They're designed with a super-wide leg — a sailor's silhouette, hence the name — and patch pockets on both the back and the front.

The actor paired them with the simplest heather-gray tank top and black mules, both of which you probably have hanging around already, just waiting for the perfect jeans.

She emphasized the pants' old-school relaxed, flared shape with a pair of nostalgic circular sunglasses and one of those wide-brimmed hats models used to wear in the '70s.

It's like these pants were literally made for your infinite collection of basics. Just last month, Hale wore them with brown Dear Frances sandals and a plain white tee. So, rather than slipping into your same only skinny jeans this weekend, up your street style game with a pair of statement jeans. Lucy Hale's and similar alternatives, ahead.
