As the weather continues to grow colder, staying bundled and warm becomes a crucial component to any outfit. If you've ever caught yourself dreaming of leaving the house in your coziest bathrobe, Lady Gaga's floor-length coat is the next best thing. This wrapped layer may just be the smartest way to face frosty temperatures throughout the season.

The award winning singer-turned-actor was photographed while out in New York City on Jan. 9 in an uncharacteristically subtle, yet glamorous ensemble. Gaga donned a beige robe coat by Gabriela Hearst with satin piping, a tightly tied waist, and a floor-skimming hem. In a noticeable effort to dress for NYC's chilly conditions, she added a black turtleneck and matching leather boots. She accessorized with a structured Celine tote and slightly upturned cat-eye sunglasses.

Since walking the Golden Globes red carpet in a powder-blue dress and a complementary hair color, Gaga has opted to keep the pastel tone through her busy week's events.

This plush trench coat falls in line with Gaga's recent Hollywood fashion transformation. As someone who once wore a fake mustache, a Christmas tree hair piece, and even a dress made of meat to a major award show, her latest style choices have demonstrated a new toned-down look.

While the current style market is saturated with plenty of warm-looking coats, sometimes coziness isn't exactly what meets the eye. Puffers aren't always the most insulated and polished trenches can be paper thin, but a floor-length, fuzzy robe is sure to keep you toasty all day (and night) long.

Tie it up over a maxi dress, tights, and boots or leave it open and drape it on top of wide-leg denim, a delicate blouse, and sporty sneakers. Ahead, shop The Zoe Report's picks for Gaga-approved extra-long coats.
